Hello to everyone at Calvary! We apologize for losing contact last semester, but intend on keeping in contact with you all and hope to keep updated on everything! We moved to Vajta, Hungary in August 2004 to attend Calvary Chapel Bible College Europe! We had a great first semester together, and a fast one at that! One of the major lessons the Lord taught us last semester was 'financial faith'. We really are learning that the Lord is our provider and that we can trust Him to provide for our needs! It is such a freeing realization to know that God cares about our every hair on our heads, and surely He gives us our daily bread.

The CASTLE from the back!

For me, Whitney, it was a semester of really getting to gaze upon the majesty of such a Holy, Righteous, and totally Pure God. God took me past everything I had previously known of Him, and revealed just how glorious and majestic He truly is…and consequently I realized just how little I ever knew of Him. Bible College is an experience of drawing closer and closer to Jesus, and I love every minute of it!

The semester came to a close around the middle of December and so we traveled to Slovenija to spend the holidays with Aleš' family! We were in Slovenija for a month and a half, mostly visiting his family and friends and spending some time with the church in Celje. We celebrated our first Christmas together, our 'six month anniversary', and my 19th birthday while in Slovenija! We had a really relaxing break, going on many nature hikes, enjoying thermal spas, and the beautiful country of Slovenija!

We aquired a little friend over the break! She is a dwarf hampster named Nezna (which means gentle in slovene, but she is a feirce little biting beast!)(ironic huh!). We came back to Vajta, Hungary in the first week of February and are enjoying another semester stock full of God's word. This semester Aleš & I are taking two classes together. This is rare since he is 4th semester and I am 2nd semester but we managed it and are taking the Gospel of John and 1st Corinthians together! During each semester we go on two short term missions trips, one weekend outreach, and one weeklong outreach. This semester we will be going to Slovakia for the weekend outreach, but are still praying as to where we should go for the weeklong outreach.

Lastly, I wanted to inform you all of the latest technology here at the Bible College! We now have wireless internet available, which means that Aleš and I are on MSN Messenger frequently. Also they installed an internet phone system called Vonage, and the gist of it is that we have unlimited calling to anywhere in the United States! So I would truly be blessed to be in closer contact with you all! Please email me your phone number, a time, and/or day of the week when convenient for me to give you a call! Also we can arrange times to meet on chat to swat pictures and update more in detail! Finally, we can always stick to good ole' email! We would love to hear from you!
