Rounding the Fourth and Final Lap at CCBCE!

Dear Family and Friends,
As my fourth and final semester is drawing to a quick close, I've taken some time aside to reflect on all the Lord has done in my heart and through our lives here in Vajta, Hungary. I want to recap each semester for you, sharing the main thing the Lord taught me and how that correlated with our outreaches.

                                      Semester 1:
My bible college experience began with a semester of realizing how great and mighty God is. Digging deeper into His Word made me realize how little I really knew of Him. I was taken back time and time again seeing that He is the God of wonders, mighty, holy, and unfathomable. Ales and I did a local outreach to the village surrounding us, Vajta, Hungary. This was such a beautiful picture of the mighty, holy, God of wonders, God of the universe and all that is, reaching down to the lowly and humble village people. What a picture of God's grace!

Semester 2:
Not only did God want to display His majesty, glory, and might to me, but He wanted me to see His royalty, and authority, because of who He is. My second semester was a time of gazing upon the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and learning to let Him be the King of my heart, will, and life. Outreach season that semester came down to Ales and I going where there was a need. The Lord was teaching us to be useful for the King's work, ready to do whatever. Semester two was a time of simple obedience, and we were blown away at how the Lord started a church in Turku, Finland in only 10 days!!

Semester 3:
My third semester marked a special time, as the King of Kings imparted His Vision for His People, concerning Slovenija. Our desire has been for these people to know Him, and He just clarified that it is His Work through His Holy Spirit, and will only be accomplished by His means. This semester we were privileged to come along side the work of the Lord in our dear friends lives, Tim & Christina Emerson. It was a time of learning that the work is all the Lords, no matter where it is happening, and who He is using.

Semester 4:
Finally caught up with the current semester, I see this as a time of reflection, praise, and thanksgiving to the Lord. Reflection on all the Lord has done in our lives, especially in Bible College, praise for Who He is, and thanksgiving for all He has done and will do. It is interesting that we will go to Israel in a few weeks. It will be very good to see the Holy Land, and really reflect on all the history of the Bible!

During the remainder of this semester we will be finishing up our studies here in Vajta, as well as preparing for our coming summer in America, and our move to Slovenija, in early October.

Praise reports:

- My sister, Madison, has been freed from the darkness and has stepped into a relationship with Jesus, and is now walking in His sweet grace! It's amazing to see her change practically overnight! Praise God for what He is doing!
- God has opened the doors for us to head to Slovenija, to see Him working there!
- Whitney will be flying home on May 23rd and Ales following soon after, to spend time with the church, with family, and with friends!

Prayer requests:

Salvation's & Growth:
     - Madison's continued growth in the Word, and connection in the Body of Christ.
     - Mojca , Ales' mom, that she would make the decision for Christ.

Last Lap in Vajta:
     - Fresh vision for the end of our time here.
     - Endurance to finish our time well here!

Israel:
     - Safety and health for the team going to Israel.
     - Hearts and minds like sponges to soak up all God wants us to in Israel.

Transition to Slovenija:
     - Wisdom concerning all the transitioning.
     - Open doors concerning paperwork… that God would open the way for Whitney's residency.
     - Further direction as we arrive in Slovenija and desire to see God work.
