Aleš' home town. Whitney's home town We went to Finlad with two good friends, Dima and Oksana. They wanted to start a church there so we went to "spy out the land." Now they live in Helsinki, where they started a home group. Whitney and I lead an outreach to Ukraine, to help out at a church. Our best friends from Bible College moved there as missionaries. This little village of 800 was our first abode for two years. It was a wonderful place to start out as a newly married couple. This trip was truly a blessing from God that we will never forget. We had a wonderful time relaxing and celebrating the gift of marriage that He has given us. During our last semester at Bible College, we went on a 10 day trip to the Holy Land. It was an unforgettable experiance. The site is still in building process. This summer of 2006 was marked by a great church retreat that we had in Croatia. Sadly Whitney could not be there, since she was home in U.S.A. wisitng her family and friends.
